10 Days, 9 Nights of Gorillas and Wildlife Luxury Safari in Kenya and Rwanda
The Kenya and Rwanda Safari was carefully chosen to suit satisfaction of our esteemed clients. Unique attractions in each country were handpicked so as to create a memorable safari. The Trip will include tracking Mountain Gorillas, Visiting the Genocide Memorial Museum, Culture, Wildlife Safaris, City Tours, Boat and Dhow cruises.
Day 1
Arrival at Kigali International Airport
Your Guide will be waiting at Kigali International AirPort with a placard written your names. You will proceed to the Hotel which is 20 minutes away. We understand how hectic the flight can be, therefore relax and enjoy the serenity at the hotel.

Day 2
Destination: Kigali City
Activity: City Tour and Visit to Genocide Memorial Museum
Kigali is one of the most organized Cities in Africa! Your guide will drive you around the city as he shares with you the social, cultural and economic life styles of the Rwandese.
You will as well, visit the Local markets, to witness a variety of local merchandise being sold. Agricultural products like Pineapples, avocados, different types of bananas and other products, will be at your exposure. This will surely help you relate on how differently things are done back home.
Genocide Memorial Museum
No matter how strong you may be, the story about Rwanda’s Genocide, will leave you saddened and wondering on how this could have happened to humanity. Over 800,000 Rwandese lost their lives throughout the country due to difference in ethnicity. The Genocide Museum therefore narrates on how everything began and how it ended. Evidence of used equipment and other materials are displayed as well as voice recorded gadgets are availed to explain more.
Later in the day, through the rolling hills of Kigali, the journey will lead you to Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla tracking on the next day. The drive is 2- 3 hours.

Day 3
Destination: Volcano National Park
Activities: Gorilla Tracking and Cultural Experience
Early in the Morning after breakfast your guide will drive you to the briefing point. Per group of Mountain Gorillas is allocated to eight Tourists. You are required to carry packed lunch, water and rain gear in your backpack since tracking may take 2-6 hours depending on how far or close they may be. Guided by an armed ranger and other armed forces for your protection in the jungle, you are advised to follow their advice. On reaching to the Gorillas, only one hour is allowed for viewing. These gentle giants are quite an exhilarating experience encountering them! You can’t hide the excitement of watching how they handle themselves just like human beings as teenagers play with each other and some being curious as they try coming next to you. Gorillas share over 95% DNA with the human race. Imagine how much of the resemblance we share. Hiring a porter to carry your backpack during tracking is highly recommended. Not only are you saving energy to get to the Gorillas but as well supporting the community. On the eve of the tracking day, your guide will brief you more so as to prepare you for the day.
Cultural experience
Rwandese have one of the unique and rich culture in Africa! During the visit at Ibyiwachu village, you get to interact with the local people and take you through their daily lives. Traditional Dances are performed, you are introduced to local banana brewery that produces banana beer, banana gin and banana juice. Part of the experience are the local herbs introduced to you that cure various diseases. A replica of the traditional homes is also organized, so as to portray a picture or vision of how they live. Learn new local skills of weaving baskets, bags and other artifacts. It is an opportunity too, to buy souvenirs to carry with you back home.

Day 4
Destination: Nairobi
Activity: Flight to Nairobi
Embark on the Journey to Kigali International Airport for your flight to Kenya.
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport your Driver Guide carrying a placard written your names, will be waiting. Depending on the time of your arrival, you will relax or indulge in a City Tour after relaxation. Places to visit on a guided tour are the National Museum whereby you get to know the cultural, Political and Natural history of Kenya through the exhibited Hominid Fossils, artifacts, and tribal culture among others. Immerse yourself in a local person’s lifestyle by enjoying local cuisines and drinks as you continue exploring the city. Other places to visit is the Giraffe Centre where you get up close and personal to these majestic creatures while feeding and touching them.

Day 5
Destination: Lake Nakuru National Park
Activity: Sunset Boat Cruise
The Journey from Nairobio will lead you to Lake Nakuru National Park in search of Rhinos and hundreds of thousands of flamingos as the main highlight of the visit to the Park. Other animals to encounter are the rare Rothchild’s Giraffes that can only be sighted in this park when in Kenya. Lions, Zebras, Leopards, Cheeters, waterbucks, Hippos and many others are residents to the park.
Boat cruise
On arrival at the lodge, you will relax, have lunch and prepare for a sunset cruise later in the afternoon as per the briefing of your Guide. While on the cruise a variety of animal species are expected to be sighted up close and personal. These can be seen drinking water, cooling off from the scorching sun and playing together. Such animals are Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos, Water bucks, Zebras and more. Scenic landscapes that you will stop by to catch a glimpsy and picnic areas where you may have a snack and a glass of sparkling wine while on sundowner are part of the boat experience to look out for. It is fascinating to watch how hundreds of thousands of flamingos paint the water pink while feeding. Other bird species to encounter are Pelicans, Grebes, and Storks among others.

Day 6
Destinations: Lake Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve
Activity: Sunrise and Sunset Safari
Sunrise Safari
At the agreed time with your guide, the sunrise safari will resume. Lake Nakuru National Park is famously known for higher populations of both white and black Rhinos. The mission is to have an opportunity to spot some among other wildlife like Lions, Elephants, the rare Rothchild’s Giraffes, Cheetars, Leopards and more of the flamingos. After the safari, your Journey to Masai Mara resumes. Depending on the departure time, you may have lunch en route or at the Camp.
Sunset Safari
Endless plains of Masai Mara’s unspoilt and authentic eco-system runs through your mind and soul as you witness nature at its best! Masai Mara’s wildlife is like no other as animals are sighted in Herds, Prides, packs, Harems, Towers and families among other groups! Without doubt, the sunset safari will unveil a variety of wildlife and in big numbers. Such animals include; Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Hyenas, Wildebeests, Giraffes and others.

Day 7
Destination: Masai Mara
Activity: Full day Gem Safari
Early in the morning after breakfast, the adventure resumes in search of the best wildlife that Mara can offer. On the list are the cats like Lions, Leopards and Cheeters. Other animals to encounter are herds of Elephants, Packs of Hyenas, Wildebeests, Zebras and Giraffes among others. For the bird enthusiasts, there’s quite a range of colorful birds like the Lilac breasted Rollers, Common Ostriches, Bateleur Eagles, Secretary Birds, Abyssinian ground hornbills, Superb Starlings and more. No better Lunch than the one served in the wilderness while gazing at the endless plains of Masai mara and surrounded by wildlife before embarking on more gem. Later in the day, you will return to the camp to freshen up and get ready for dinner.
Alternatively, you can spare half a day for the Masai Culture. Visit the Masai village to experience their culture by participating in their traditional dances, visiting their homesteads, learn how to use spears, arrows and bows, among others.

Day 8
Destination: Mombasa
Activity: Sunset Dhow Cruise
In the Morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airfield for your flight to Diani Beach. On arrival at Diani Airport, a hotel shuttle will pick you up. Later in the day, a sunset dhow cruise is set to relax your mind while enjoying the silence and the fresh breeze of the ocean as you watch the sun setting. A variety of drinks and snacks are on board.
At dinner time, enjoy a candle light dinner at the gaze of the stars that may include sea foods and local delicacies before heading back to the resort.

Day 9
Destination: Wasini Island
Activity: Diving and Snorkeling and Visit to Slave Caves
After breakfast, as per the time communicated by your guide, you will head out for snorkeling. While you are cruising on the dhow, there are higher chances of seeing Dolphins, birds among others. During the activity, you are exposed to marine life under the ocean like the sea plants, coral reefs, and different kinds of fish, Dolphins and other reptiles.
After lunch, you will visit the slave caves on the main land of Shimon village where Slaves were first kept before transportation to Zanzibar in the slave market.

Day 10
Destination: Moi International Airport Mombasa
Activity: Flight
Relax at the Resort or take a self-guided walk along the beach as you wait for time to get transferred to the airport for your flight back home. Always remember to be at the airport 3 hours before your flight.
